Sports Massage Advanced
This course builds on the skills acquired in sports massage through the introduction of more advanced massage techniques, with emphasis on an athlete's tissue repair, pain relief and performance. This practical course will cover common presenting injuries, basic muscle testing, trigger point work and myofacial release.

Topics Include:
Dealing with damaged tissue
Basic muscle testing
Frictional technique
Trigger point therapy
Myofacial release

Students will receive 11 REPS CEC Credits on completion of this course.

Before attending this course students must have completed the AUT Sport Massage course or an acceptable equivalent qualification.
